This generator allows you to generate the key points from a lesson plan document or course text, to be used to recap learning or to carry out brief formative assessment to ensure any learning gaps are filled.
- Click the Upload File button and select an existing lesson plan file
- Alternatively, select the cartridge that includes the content you covered in the lesson you would like to recap. Each cartridge typically covers a particular unit or topic of study from the book; you can select up to three cartridges at one time.
- Make the results appropriate for your class or group by choosing the learner age.
- In ‘More about the learners’, if relevant, select one or more specific Learning Needs. If you select Specific Learning Difficulties, you will be able to expand on these in more detail.
- Click Generate and wait a few moments.
If you like the result, you can Save Result (so you can come back to it later) and Export it.
If the result is not satisfactory you can amend the entered information and Regenerate, creating a new result. If the result was somewhat satisfactory and only small changes are needed, you can Refine the result in the text box.
Remember the generator can only work on your original text, so may have difficulties if the lesson plan has a complex layout.
