A great first step is to start exploring the AQA A Level French digital books. You can add your own notes to these pages and use the resources button along the bottom to access all of the associated resources for that page. Digital books have all of the audio for the listening activities hot-spotted on the page. View Year 1/AS or Year 2.

Resources

Developing speaking skills

There is a range of resources to support students in developing their speaking skills independently, including video discussions and skills worksheets. Kerboodle also has the functionality for students to record their responses and then submit them for feedback. Watch some of the video discussions.

Listening, reading and translation skills practice

Extra listening, reading, and translation interactive activities and worksheets to accompany units of the Student Books are available to students in the ‘Resources’ folder.

Exam Pulse

Exam tips with Exam Pulse

Exam Pulse provides top tips and advice for approaching the exams and suggests resources and activities within Kerboodle to develop students’ understanding and improve their responses, all based on examiners’ feedback. 

Adding your own resources

You can add to the bank of resources with your own resources which means that you can create lessons and units that are bespoke to you and to your classes.

Assessments

Track progress

You can assign specific activities to individual students or to groups of students to target specific skills. Find out more on assigning these to your students.

Answers

Answers can be found in the assessment answers folder in Teacher support within the assessment tab. Go to the Year 1 Assessment folder. By default this will be hidden to students but can be made visible. Transcripts are included within the relevant unit folder. When assigning work you will also be able to attach answers as supporting material. Guide to attaching answers as supporting material.
